Children and Contacts

More and more children and teens are wearing contact lenses every year. If you have a child who wears corrective eyewear you can probably understand why. Contact lenses are shatter-proof, they don’t get fogged up and they provide full peripheral vision.

  • A recent CooperVision survey of children and youth ages 8 to 18 revealed that the most important reason for getting contact lenses wasn’t to look better, or even see better – it’s because they became active in sports (Source: Braun Research Study Dec. 2009).
